This is the August edition of #paperhaul
#paperhaul is a monthly subscription service brought to you from Crafty Creatives, each month features a selection of paper goods to get you feeling inspired!
The boxes contain a mix of stickers, greetings cards, postcards, washi tape and other fantastic goodies, and costs just £10 per month! let's get started..
As soon as I opened this months box I was excited, there is a clear French/Paris theme in this box!
I always gravitate towards the washi tape first, it's the one thing that I always use first. This months washi tape is different coloured love hearts on a white background, very cute!
Here we have three mini gift tags, each featuring an illustration of a mime artist, these are sweet and perfect to attach to gifts!
stickers are always a great addition to these boxes, and these are my favourite stickers that I have received so far! they feature French words to say hello, thank you, and yes. I love these, however I don't think the quality of these is as good as the previous stickers, as the pink "merci" sticker looks a little grainy.
These matte notecards are possibly one of the cutest things! three notecards in lovely pastel colours, featuring the words bonjour, merci and oui. the colour palette is the same as the stickers, which I thought was a nice touch. They also come with three white envelopes.
Three postcards, all with graphic prints, on the left we have a french looking cat, the middle is a lovely Paris themed image, and the right is a girl wearing a beret. My favourite is the Paris themed postcard, the illustration is just so sweet and the colours work well together, this one will go up in my studio. I'm not too fond of the other two postcards, but I guess not everyone will have the same tastes as me!
These three sheets of letter writing paper came with three white envelopes, I don't actually write any letters, but when I do I'll definitely grab these! Super cute simple illustrations on the bottom of each piece.
Double sided craft papers, this side features macaroons in lovely pastel colours, and the other has illustrations of windows on. As I've said in my previous posts, these aren't my favourite things to receive in the boxes, but I might try and gift them to someone who will get some use out of them, either that or learn to be less precious with things!
The reverse of these papers features photography, on the left is someone holding a heart shape up to the Eiffel Tower which can be seen in the distance, the other paper features a tea cup and macaroons, I prefer the illustrated sides of these for sure, but they're cute, you could even frame them if you wanted to.
The square cards that are in each box are always great! This is a pale grey card featuring the words "bonjour monsieur" in a bold black font, this card is perfect for any occasion as it looks elegant and also playful!
Last but not least, the second of the square cards, this is also mainly grey in colour with some red accents, this is a lovely illustration of a roof view of houses and buildings, I presume it continues the French theme! This style of illustration is one of my favourites, so this card might never find a recipient!
All in all, I think this box is fantastic, as I stated earlier the craft papers aren't really my thing, but hopefully I'll use them soon or gift them to someone else. The box is well put together and definitely well worth the money.
